Marketing > Starting off right with a website

I will be presenting a number of articles about effective marketing communications tools that can help young companies start off on the right foot. This month focuses on the website.

A website presents the ‘online face’ of your company, and is a must-have for any company, even one in the early stages of its business life. But it doesn’t need to be a flashily-designed multimedia circus to be effective. In our experience what young companies need is a good starter website.

A newer company may not have a lot of content to fill a website; therefore simple, well-designed web pages will show off what information is available to its best advantage.

The basic website design focuses viewer attention on important standard elements such as the company logo, slogan or tag line. It showcases the company by providing a clear-cut product description, a brief company profile and makes available important information about you to potential investors or strategic partners.

We create basic websites that are particularly well suited to the needs of young companies on the way up, as a customer contact portal and a company brochure rolled into one. A starter website conveys credibility to your company while helping you connect with a wider audience.

The starter website also allows you to update information in real-time, as it becomes available, with plenty of room for future expansion of both content and functionality. All in all, your company website is a terrific marketing communications tool.
